Quran 7 : 116

Then they all cast their devices and created frightening illusions

He replied, "Throw yours first." Their great magic bewitched people's eyes and terrified them

He said, “You throw!” So, when they threw, they magic the people’s eyes, terrifying them, and bringing with great magic.

'Throw, ' he replied. And when they threw, they bewitched the people's eyes and terrified them, and produced great sorcery

He said: “You throw. So, when they threw, they bewitched people’s eyes and frightened them and they brought a great magic.”

He said: Throw! And when they threw they cast a spell upon the people's eyes, and overawed them, and produced a mighty spell

He said: you throw, then when they threw, they bedazzled the eyes of people and frightened them and brought tremendous magic.

He said: Cast. So when they cast, they deceived the people's eyes and frightened them, and they produced a mighty enchantment

He said, "You throw." When they threw, they tricked the people's eyes, intimidated them, and produced a great magic.

He said, 'Throw,' And when they threw down, they enchanted the people's eyes, and made them dread, and came with a great magic.

He said Throw Then when they threw they bewitched (the) eyes (of) the people and terrified them and came (up) with a magic great

He said: Cast. So when they cast, they deceived the people’s eyes and overawed them, and they produced a mighty enchantment

Musa said, 'you throw,' when they threw, they enchanted the eyes of the people and frightened them and brought forth a great magic.

Moses said, “You first.” So when they did, they deceived the eyes of the people, stunned them, and made a great display of magic.

Said he, 'Throw down;' and when they threw down, they did enchant the people's eyes, and made them dread, and brought a mighty magic

He said, .You throw. So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and made them frightened, and produced great sorcery

Said Moses, “You throw.” When they threw, they tricked the eyes of people, and struck fear into them, for they showed great illusions

He said: "You throw [first]!" So when they threw, they charmed the people's eyes and overawed them. They produced a splendid trick!

He said: cast ye. Then when they cast clown, they enchanted the eyes of the people, and terrified them and brought mighty magic to bear

He replied, 'Throw ye.' And when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck them with awe and produced a mighty magic

Throw,‘ he replied. And when they threw, they bewitched the people‘s eyes and terrified them by a display of mighty sorcery

He said, “You start.” So they went first, with trickery charmed people’s eyes to frighten them, and made an impressive magical spectacle

He said, "You throw!" So when they did, they hoodwinked the people's eyes and frightened them, and they displayed some great magic

He said, “Cast!” And when they cast, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck them with awe, and they brought forth a mighty sorcery

He said, 'You cast.' And when they cast they put a Spell upon the people's eyes, and called forth fear of them, and produced a mighty sorcery

He said: You cast. So when they cast, they cast a spell on the eyes of the personages and terrified them. And a tremendous sorcery drew near.

He said: "You cast." So when they cast, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and instilled terror in them, and they came with a great magic.

He said, ‘You throw,’ and they did, casting a spell on people’s eyes, striking fear into them, and bringing about great sorcery

Moses replied: “You can throw first.” When they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, struck them with awe and produced a mighty sorcery.

He (Moses) said: “You throw (first).” So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, scared them, and they displayed with a great magic.

Said he, "You cast." So as soon as they cast, they bewitched (their) fellowmen?s eyes, and overawed them, and came with a tremendous sorcery

He said, ‘Throw [yours].’ So when they threw, they bewitched the people’s eyes and overawed them, producing a tremendous magic

He said, "You throw"; when they threw, they cast a magic spell upon the people’s eyes and terrified them, and they brought a great magic

He said: "You throw [first]!" So when they threw, they charmed the people´s eyes and overawed them. They produced a splendid trick!

(Moses said) “You throw”... When they (the magicians) threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them! They performed a great magic.

He said, “You cast” So when they cast, they put magic on the eyes of the people and they struck them with fear and they came up with a magic most prodigious.

Musa said, "You go (first)." As they cast their spells, they bewitched people´s eyes and struck them with awe. They conjured up an awesome magic

He said, "You throw (first)." So when they threw, they cast a magic on the eyes of the people and sought to frighten them, and they came out with a great magic.

"You cast it first," answered Moses. When they cast their spell, they bewitched the eyes of the people and petrified them by conjuring up a great charm

He answered, "You throw [first]."When they threw down [their staffs], they cast a spell upon the people's eyes, and struck them with fear, producing mighty sorcery.

He said, "Cast ye down." And when they had cast them down they enchanted the people's eyes, and made them afraid; for they had displayed a great enchantment

He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic

Moses asked them to begin. When they began they cast a spell on the people's eyes, and struck them with awe, and stunned the assembly with their spellbinding eloquence

Said Moses: "Throw ye (first)." So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they showed a great (feat of) magic

Moses said: ´You throw.´ So when they threw [their rods], they enchanted the eyes of the people, and struck them with awe, and produced a mighty sorcery

He said, You throw [first]! When they made their cast, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck them with awe, for they showed a great [feat of] magic

He (Moosa (Moses)) said: "Throw you (first)." So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them, and they displayed a great magic

Said Musa (Moses): "You throw (first)." So when they threw, they surprised the eyes of the people, and struck fear in them: Because they showed a great (act of) magic

Said he, "Throw first". And when they threw down their rods, they bewitched (hypnotized) the people´s eyes, and struck terror into them, for they did a mighty magic

He said, ´You throw.´ And when they threw, they cast a spell on the people´s eyes and caused them to feel great fear of them. They produced an extremely powerful magic.

He replied, “You throw.” And when they performed their enchantment, they cast a spell upon the people’s eyes, struck fear in their hearts, and exhibited a magnificent spectacle of sorcery.

(Musa) said: “Throw you (first).” So when they threw (their items), they bewitched the eyes of the people, and they struck terror into them and they came with a magnificent magic

He answered: "You throw [first]." And when they threw down [their staffs], they cast a spell upon the people's eyes, and struck them with awe, and produced mighty sorcery

He said, “You go ahead and throw.” When they threw, they caused a great illusion for the eyes of the people, who became terrified. They demonstrated fine magical skills. [Their staffs became snakes.]

He answered: "Throw!" And when they threw (whatever they held in their hands to make spells) they cast a spell upon the people’s eyes (i.e. overawed and deluded them), and produced a mighty sorcery

(Moses) said, `You may present (first, what you have).' And when they presented (their devices) they cast a spell on the peoples' eyes and sought to strike awe into them and they came out with a mighty enchantment

Musa (Moses) said: ‘You throw (first).’ So when they threw (their strings and sticks on the ground), they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck them with awe, and brought (forth) an extremely effective magic

He said: "Throw/throw away." So when they threw/threw away, they bewitched/enchanted the people's eyes/sights and they terrorized/terrified them, and they came with great magic/sorcery. (IF GOD REFEREED TO THE MAGIC AS "GREAT" THEN IT MUST REALLY HAVE BEEN EXTRAORDINARY BY ANY STANDARD
